Mohsin Cooper

Unlocking the potential of challenging sites & buildings.

The Client

Mohsin Cooper is a leading architectural practice, with offices in London and Brighton & Hove. As an accredited RIBA Chartered Practice, Mohsin has a reputation for very high standards of service across each and every project, specialising in the completion of difficult building projects, using creative approaches to overcome strict planning restrictions and deliver excellent results.

From conception to completion, notable projects include revamping the area of The Stag Inn in Brighton, refurbishment of the Grade II listed Embassy building in South Kensington, developing Boundstone Nursery in Lancing, and multiple housing schemes in London, Brighton and beyond.

The Brief

Architecture, like web design, is a highly visual medium, but also adheres to strict development rules and technical requirements to link it all together. From the brief, we identified Mohsin Cooper’s needs and knew a high level of design expertise would be key to conveying the excellent architectural sensibilities of the company.

The brief also wanted to put previous projects and testimonials at the forefront of the site.  We knew that focusing on the amazing work the firm had completed thus far would be key to engaging their target audiences.

Insight & Intent

For certain projects, gaining insight into our client’s needs beyond a brief is crucial. For Mohsin Cooper, we wanted to better understand how they felt about their existing brand and what they would like to see change, as well as review key goals of the business itself and how the website could support these objectives.

From this, we were able to lay the foundations of the updated Mohsin Cooper website. This included an outline of what content would need to be included, how many pages would need to be developed, and which features could be incorporated.

Web Design & Development

We wanted to focus on creating a beautifully simple website design, putting the work of Mohsin Cooper front and centre on a white background. This was accompanied by a custom typography, multiple high quality homepage images and testimonials as soon as the user lands on the site.

We developed the site on WordPress to ensure Mohsin Cooper could manage and update the website independently. The site’s content management system would also ensure images and visual assets could be uploaded and updated with ease. As part of our services, we also offered training at our offices and ongoing telephone support to make sure our client would be familiar with the WordPress platform before managing the site themselves.

Once the WordPress website was built, we added Google Maps integration, which listed both the London and Hove offices, as well as the location of various ongoing or completed projects. We also linked the site to Mohsin Cooper’s various specific social profiles including Houzz, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter; we knew this would be important for such a visually driven business.

“The design underwent a number of iterations, which led to a very satisfactory outcome for us. We are really pleased with our new website and have received a number of positive comments regarding its look and functionality from both peers in architecture and our wide client base. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben and his team.”
