State of the art NHS pharmacy

The Client

Pharm@sea started as a pilot scheme in Brighton, serving patients with prescriptions and healthcare services from within an NHS hospital. The scheme has successfully shown how waiting times can be improved upon using an innovative automated picking system for prescriptions and is now being rolled out nationally.

The Brief

Our initial brief was to design a logo and website to support the expansion of the franchise into new NHS trusts throughout the UK. After spending a substantial amount of time with the client to understand the landscape they worked in: infrastructure, resources available, footfall and customer expectations, we saw opportunities to create new revenue streams to support the financial constraints that the NHS face every day – and they loved the idea.

What we did

We created the brand and logo and built a bespoke WordPress site for the pharmacy, writing all the content and using our new photography to guide visitors through the site. We highlighted the new areas: travel health clinic, stop smoking courses and flu jab services with clear CTAs and optimised the site for search engines.
